A running systems failure that also produces a coherent reverse course and six more hours of SATCOM is a poor fit. Lithium-battery cargo was reviewed and not adopted as cause.
A bulk lithium load has no obvious advantage for conventional radar tracking. A powered transmitter would be a different technical question — currently unanswered. The official report did not adopt a cargo-fire finding. That is not a bonus for the official origin; it is one record in the pile.
