Ashton Forbes
Independent researcher · alleged thermal and wide-area video
Independent researcher
Source of widely circulated alleged thermal/WAMI videos and platform identifications. Those identifications are hypotheses, not findings. Plasma-orb claims are treated as unsubstantiated. A third-party extract of 824 of his videos is a claim list, not proof. Edward C. Lin FOIA does not name MH370.
Forbes publishes alleged footage and identifications (platforms, plasma/orbs, remote takeover). Platform class, if it can be derived at all, has to come from geometry and sensor, not from the caption. Independently verifiable research inside that corpus can still be tested; platform IDs attached to the thesis are not adopted as findings. His 15 September 2023 thread enumerates RegicideAnon upload chronology (public upload 19 May 2014; claimed 12 March receipt unverified); alleged satellite/WAMI and thermal videos; NROL-22/USA-229; SBIRS/SIGINT; stereoscopic imagery; Citrix/display/frame-rate arguments; MQ-1C/EO-IR identification. The frame-rate ‘Gorgon Stare match’ at ~6 fps is contradicted by the September 2013 OSD report (2 fps). Franklin Mead / AFRL propulsion literature does not support metre-scale manufactured plasma orbs (Larson–Mead–Knecht 2004 is laser-thermal trajectory maths; DPF plasmoids centimetre-scale). February 2026 FOIA of Edward C. Lin court-martial records confirms VPU-2 / JTF 519 / PACFLT and a classified-NDI plea; no released court document names MH370 or a satellite video.
