Beamed-energy / aneutronic-fusion / laser-thermal propulsion. Dense-plasma-focus plasmoids in his papers are centimetre-scale, device-bound and transient. The 2004 Teleportation Physics Study (Davis; Mead as project manager) is theoretical. No pathway to metre-scale autonomous atmospheric orbs.

Ashton Forbes, 9 Dec 2025, claimed Mead ‘had a hand in making the plasma orbs and teleportation for the U.S. Air Force,’ attaching the title page of Larson, Mead and Knecht, ‘Laser Propulsion and the Constant Momentum Mission’ (2004). That paper is Newtonian trajectory maths for laser-thermal propulsion: linear exhaust, no spheres, no fusion, no teleportation. Fusion Propulsion Study (1989) and DPF papers (2006) confine plasma to reactor hardware. Teleportation Physics Study (2004) surveys entanglement/wormholes/exotic matter and concludes engineering-scale teleportation is far-future. Lab-generated free-floating plasmas remain centimetres and seconds. This is the named-author expansion of the Ashton Hall negative finding already on file.
