Twelve years on, no organisation has issued a credible claim of responsibility. Absence of a claim is not proof of innocence; it is a fact that sits next to the stolen passports.
Terror campaigns that want publicity usually say so. MH370 produced silence. That silence is one of the reasons the 2018 team did not adopt a terrorism finding. It does not close third-party intervention as a residual.
