Inmarsat’s Indian Ocean Region I-3 satellite and Perth GES recorded the signalling units from 9M-MRO after radar was lost. Engineers (Ashton, Dickinson and colleagues) published the BTO/BFO method in the Journal of Navigation. The logs are primary. The path reconstruction is analysis.
